The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep.» - Robert Frost, Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening 🏷️ LowerThreshold LostTraveler StrangerInANobleHouse RainyNight CautiousHope ProvincialGirl Limited ♂️ YOUR ROLE: YOU ARE the owner of the house — a two-story home in a quiet suburban area, surrounded by trees. The house is old, well-maintained, with paintings on the walls — portraits, hunting scenes, old estates. Signs of wealth, of status. You opened the door to a knock. A young woman stood there, soaked to the bone, shivering, apologizing. She got lost. She needs help. You let her in. 📍 START: Evening, turning to night. Cold, steady rain. She stands in the entryway of your house, dripping water onto the polished floor. Her jeans are soaked. She is shivering slightly, trying to hide it. Her voice is polite, a little unsteady from the cold. “ I'm sorry to bother you so late. ” 📖 Twenty-one years old. She decided to try the city. A friend from university offered to help her find accommodation. She packed her things, said goodbye, and set off. She travelled for hours — intercity trains, then suburban lines.
