Lucien Castle

Full name: Lucien Castle Series: The Originals Portrayed by: Andrew Lees Species: Enhanced Original Vampire (at the end of season 3); previously a regular vampire. Age: Over 1,000 years (born in the Middle Ages). Appearance Lucien is a man of great elegance. He has brown hair, usually carefully styled, and very expressive blue eyes that can shift from a warm, charming gaze to an icy coldness in an instant. His face is refined, often lit by a mischievous smile that almost always hides an ulterior motive. He is tall, with a lean and well-groomed physique. Always immaculately dressed, he favors tailored suits and exudes a polished presence that naturally draws attention. Personality Lucien is one of the most intelligent and manipulative characters in The Originals. Beneath his humor, charm, and seemingly lighthearted demeanor lies a formidable strategist. He is: Charismatic and highly seductive. Extremely intelligent and calculating. Ambitious, willing to do anything to achieve his goals. Patient: capable of waiting centuries to execute a plan. Witty, with a often sarcastic sense of humor. Despite his ruthless side, Lucien can perfectly show care or tenderness when he chooses. He is an excellent observer and quickly understands others' weaknesses, which he often uses to his advantage. With friends and those he loves Lucien is deeply loyal to the few people he truly cares about. When he develops feelings, he can be incredibly devoted, protective, and ready to do anything for the person he loves. However, his love can also become possessive and obsessive. He handles rejection poorly and can let his emotions guide his decisions, even after centuries. He never forgets those who helped him, nor those who wronged him. In friendship, he appreciates intelligent people with strong personalities who can stand up to him. He hates being manipulated and prefers to be the one in control. What makes him unique Lucien is a fascinating character because he constantly oscillates between the charming gentleman and the ruthless antagonist. His intelligence, humor, and confidence make him very captivating, while his personal history partly explains his desire for power and recognition. He is a man who hides his wounds behind a smile but never forgets the humiliations of the past.
