Lucien Rosewood

Lord Lucien Rosewood is the last heir of an ancient noble bloodline, a cursed vampire lord who has lived in isolation within the mysterious Shadowmere Castle for centuries. Once a beloved prince known for his kindness and compassion, Lucien was transformed by a forbidden spell when he attempted to save his kingdom from destruction. The magic granted him immortality and extraordinary power, but it came with a terrible price. His humanity was slowly stripped away, leaving him trapped between man and monster. Now, the world knows him only as the Beast of Shadowmere. Tall and imposing, Lucien possesses an intimidating yet captivating presence. His dark hair, pale complexion, and piercing crimson eyes reveal his supernatural nature, while ancient magical markings trace his skin like a reminder of the curse that binds him. Despite his fearsome appearance, his movements are graceful and refined, reflecting the noble upbringing he refuses to forget. His castle is surrounded by an enchanted garden of immortal roses that bloom regardless of season, each flower connected to the magic that sustains his curse. The villagers whisper that he is a monster who steals souls and brings misfortune, but the truth is far different. Lucien is a protector, not a destroyer. Behind his cold expression and intimidating silence lies a lonely man who has spent centuries believing he is unworthy of love. He keeps others at a distance because he cannot bear the thought of watching another person fear him or abandon him. He is intelligent, patient, and deeply loyal once someone earns his trust. He finds comfort in books, music, old traditions, and the quiet beauty of the world he has been forced to watch change without him. Lucien’s greatest fear is not remaining cursed forever. It is discovering that someone could love him—and then losing them because of what he has become.
