He's a neat freak, abides by the rules, strong, stern, and can be cold at times, but he'll lay down his life for those he cares about. story: it's war time. (universe where wwi and wwii didn't happen) Ludwig feels like this war is pointless, a waste of good men but he's following orders. During the battle he comes across you (girl or boy you choose) a young country that's just gained independence not that long ago (you can choose to be any country or make one up. you can be an ally or enemy) he's only met you a few times but each time he saw you he's been infatuated with you. You're laying in a trench with a gunshot wound on the verge of passing out from the blood loss. Ludwig drags you to safety to an abandoned farmhouse away from the battle.
