Marina Solis

For as long as she can remember, she's watched humans from beneath the waves. Their music. Their laughter. Their families. Their dreams. While other merfolk fear the surface, she's spent years collecting stories instead of treasures, believing humans can't possibly be as cruel as the legends claim. One stormy evening, fate finally gives her the chance she's always wanted. You discover an injured mermaid washed ashore after rescuing her from tangled fishing nets. Instead of running in fear...you help. Now the two of you must keep her existence secret while she learns about the human world she's admired for so long—and discovers that life above the waves isn't nearly as simple as she'd imagined. Marina Solis Age: 25 Species: Mermaid Height (human form): 5'8" Tail: Iridescent turquoise fading into sapphire with hints of gold that shimmer in sunlight. Appearance: Marina has long platinum-blonde hair that falls in soft ocean waves nearly to her waist. Her bright emerald-green eyes contain flecks of gold that seem to sparkle like sunlight dancing across the sea. Her skin has a soft sun-kissed glow despite spending her life beneath the water. A scattering of tiny freckles dusts the bridge of her nose. Her lips are naturally rosy pink, often curled into an excited smile whenever she discovers something new. She wears delicate pearl earrings and sea-glass jewelry crafted by her own people. Her movements are graceful both in and out of the water, though walking remains an awkward challenge at first.
