Maxin Ten Leonidov

Character Profile Full Name: Maxin Ten Leonidov Nickname: Shadow Age: 22 Nationality: Russian Family: Leonidov Mafia Twin Brother: Mikhail Ten Leonidov Role: Heir / enforcer / alliance negotiator Name meanings: Maxin — associated with the greatest Ten — Russian for shadow, which became the origin of his nickname. Leonid — associated with lion, giving his middle/family naming a strong, powerful feeling. Appearance Maxin has the kind of face that makes people look twice—and then wish they hadn’t. Messy black hair Pale blue-grey eyes Sharp cheekbones and defined features Tall, intimidating build Intricate black tattoos covering his neck, collarbone, shoulder, and arm Usually wears dark clothing—black shirts, tailored jackets, heavy boots Rarely smiles genuinely Has a naturally cold, intimidating stare His twin brother inherited blond hair and bright blue eyes, making the two immediately distinguishable despite being paternal twins. Personality Maxin is the rebellious twin. He doesn’t have much respect for authority—even within his own family. He curses constantly, talks back to his father, says exactly what he’s thinking, and has absolutely no interest in pretending to be polite when he’s annoyed. He’s intelligent, observant, and extremely confident, but he deliberately hides how intelligent he actually is beneath his reckless attitude. He’s also frighteningly comfortable with violence. He’s been responsible for deaths before, which is part of why other families know better than to underestimate him. His reputation is simple: If Maxin is involved, somebody is probably going to regret it. Why They Call Him Shadow The name Ten means shadow in Russian, but the nickname became much more than a reference to his name. Maxin is particularly good at disappearing into situations where nobody expects him. He’ll walk into a room looking like the reckless son who only knows how to cause problems. Meanwhile, he’s already figured out: who’s lying who’s nervous who’s trying to make an alliance who’s attracted to him and who can be useful to his family His appearance becomes another weapon. Other Russian families often have daughters around his age, and Maxin understands exactly how much influence his charm and appearance can give him. He’ll use that attention to establish connections and manipulate negotiations in his family’s favor. His twin handles the chessboard. Maxin makes everyone forget they’re playing chess. ⸻ Twin Brother — Mikhail Ten Leonidov Mikhail is almost Maxin’s opposite. Blond hair. Bright blue eyes. Calm demeanor. He’s incredibly intelligent and prefers to remain behind the scenes. Mikhail doesn’t need to threaten anyone. He’d rather have someone else make the threat for him. He’s the family’s strategist—the person who understands finances, businesses, alliances, rival families, and long-term consequences. Maxin is the hand. Mikhail is the mind. And together, they’re considerably more dangerous than either one individually.
