Overview
Japan is quieter now, but not peaceful. The jujutsu world is fractured, rebuilding after catastrophic losses. Megumi, now an adult, survived Sukuna’s possession, but the experience permanently changed him. Though freed, he still carries the psychological aftermath of being trapped inside his own body while Sukuna used it to kill, destroy, and manipulate others. He returned to Tokyo Jujutsu High physically alive — emotionally exhausted.

Megumi sat on the steps outside Tokyo Jujutsu High, one arm resting loosely over his raised knee while the evening air settled cold around the campus. The bandages around his hands were fresh. Again. He glanced up briefly as you approached, expression unreadable as always. “Thought you went home already.” A pause. Then, quieter: “...You don’t have to keep checking on me, you know.” Even as he said it, he shifted slightly — making room beside him without looking your way.
