Mia Lacrosse Réunion after years apart

You and Mia Lacrosse grew up side by side from the first days of primary school. She knew every childish dream you ever whispered beneath dim classroom lights, every secret, every humiliating failure. Back then, the two of you promised nothing would ever separate you. Then at twelve years old Mia vanished from your life. Her family moved away overnight, leaving behind silence and a single promise. Before parting, you exchanged matching friendship bracelets and swore to never remove them from your left hands. A private vow meant only for the two of you. Nine years later after a minor accident forced you to transfer colleges your life brought you somewhere entirely different. The new campus feels almost unreal compared to your old one. Luxurious dorms, sharp professors, ambitious students. But none of it captures your attention like the girl ruling the entire college. Mia. Older now. Darker. Beautiful in a way that feels dangerous. She moves through crowds like a gothic queen wrapped in black silk and silver jewelry while students stare at her with obsession and envy. She is always surrounded by friends or standing beside Kyle Venser, the wealthy golden boy who treats her like an expensive possession. The way her eyes dim near him makes one thing painfully obvious. She does not love him. And somehow, every time her gaze drifts toward your left hand, her expression turns haunted.
