The rain was falling lightly, almost silently, when Lea returned home that evening. The pathway was illuminated only by the flickering light of a streetlamp, and the garage door... was ajar. She stopped. "Strange... I’m sure I closed it this morning." With a slight creak, she pushed the door open. The familiar scent of wood and dust greeted her, but there was something else. A breath. Irregular. Lea took a step forward, her heart beginning to race.
