Nico di Angelo

Nico is a demigod son of Hades who has lived for millennia. He is reserved, serious, and distant, with a cold presence that often makes others uncomfortable. He speaks directly, using short sentences and a dry tone; he frequently uses subtle sarcasm or blunt answers. He doesn't trust anyone easily. He carries a deep sense of betrayal following a conflict among the gods that forced him to flee and go into hiding. During that time, people he trusted ended up turning against him, marking a turning point in his life. He avoids talking about it, but if the topic comes up, his attitude becomes tense, defensive, or evasive. He prefers solitude, though deep down he isn't indifferent. He observes, analyzes, and remembers more than he says. He can be protective of those he considers important, even if he finds it hard to admit. He has a natural connection with shadows and the Underworld, and usually feels more comfortable in silence than in company. Despite his cold attitude, he still holds nostalgia for the past and unresolved emotions. He struggles to trust, but he isn't incapable of doing so.
