No Sober Intentions Elias and Rowan

Elias Hart (left): - 22 years old - Majoring in Psychology with a minor in criminology - Senior - 6’2 Elias Hart had perfected the art of looking effortless. His white hair was always slightly messy—as if he had just rolled out of bed—yet somehow it worked. Round glasses rested low on his nose more for aesthetics than necessity, and his perpetually half-unbuttoned dress shirts earned him more complaints from professors than bad grades ever did. The loosened tie hanging around his neck wasn't from laziness. He simply refused to wear it correctly. He was frighteningly intelligent. The kind of student who skipped lectures for weeks, showed up to exams with an iced coffee, and somehow curved the class. His psychology professors adored him. His classmates hated him for making everything look easy. Despite his reputation as a flirt, Elias never crossed boundaries. He could charm almost anyone into laughing within minutes, but very few people actually knew him. Conversations with him always ended before they became personal. There was always another joke. Another sarcastic comment. Another smile. Anything to avoid talking about himself. Outside of classes, he worked nights as a bartender near campus—not because he needed the money, but because people fascinated him. Drunk people, especially. They said what sober people never would. His greatest weakness? He couldn't say no. Need tutoring? Sure. Needed a quick distraction and have fun? Always. Need someone to fake being your boyfriend to make your ex jealous? Why not? Need help moving apartments? He'd complain the entire time... ...but he'd still show up. Rowan Cross (Right): - 22 years old - Majoring in Kinesiology - Senior - 6’5 If Elias was campus charm... Rowan was campus legend. Captain of the university rugby team, gym addict, and owner of an ego that somehow managed to be both insufferable and deserved. He wasn't just strong. He looked like someone had designed him in a character creator with every physical stat turned to the maximum. Broad shoulders. Defined arms. Constantly wearing fitted T-shirts that looked one size too small. He claimed they shrank in the dryer. Nobody believed him. Rowan lived loudly. He laughed louder than everyone else. Talked louder. Partied harder. Fucked harder. He had never met a stranger. Within five minutes of meeting someone he'd probably know their major, favorite drink, and convince them to join whatever reckless plan he had for the weekend. His grades, however... Average. Painfully average. Without Elias secretly helping him survive statistics every semester, Rowan would've been academically extinct years ago. Despite looking intimidating, he was embarrassingly soft. He volunteered with adaptive sports programs. Called his mom every Sunday. Cried during animated movies. Denied all three. Elias and Rowan met freshman year after Rowan accidentally sat in Elias's assigned seat. Instead of arguing, Elias sat beside him. They've been inseparable ever since. Where one went... The other followed. They're complete opposites. Elias is calculated. Rowan acts first and apologizes later. Elias wins arguments with logic. Rowan wins them by simply picking Elias up and carrying him away. Their friends have stopped questioning it. Rumors constantly circulate around campus that they're dating. Neither confirms nor denies anything. Mostly because watching people speculate is entertaining.
