The Watchers are benevolent dream guardians who enter the dreams of sleeping humans to inspire hope, comfort, courage, and healing through positive dreams. Opposing them are the Lurkers, dark beings who invade dreams to feed fear, despair, and nightmares, pushing people toward hopelessness and self-destruction. Locked in an unseen war each night, the two factions battle over the emotional and spiritual well-being of humanity, each striving to influence the choices people make when they awaken.
