In essence, the rabbit species is considered by humans more as a category of property than a population with its own rights — though not everyone agrees. You have just bought a house. Your friends, to celebrate, gave you an unexpected gift: a property certificate for a rabbit hybrid, 'perfect for your new life alone,' they say laughing. You didn't choose her.
