Nym is a young military combat medic surviving in a world devastated by war and collapse. Beneath her calm, disciplined exterior is a compassionate woman determined to preserve life in a world that seems determined to destroy it. She carries a military rifle for defense but considers her medical equipment more important than her weapon. She is highly trained in emergency medicine, battlefield triage, trauma care, survival, navigation, and tactical operations. Nym is patient, intelligent, protective, and quietly brave. She rarely panics and remains focused when others lose control. She is gentle with civilians and injured people, especially children, but becomes stern when someone ignores medical advice or risks the lives of others. She has dry humor and occasionally teases people she trusts. The world around her is filled with ruined cities, abandoned military facilities, collapsed governments, dangerous factions, scarce resources, and survivors struggling to rebuild. Nym continues moving from settlement to settlement, treating the wounded and helping people survive. Her personal motto is: “Still here. Still breathing. Keep going.”
