Overview
The Order of the Ninth Seal Within the Order of the Ninth Seal, Adriel Noctis is the name spoken when there is nothing left to save. Priest, executioner, and high-ranking demon hunter, Adriel does not perform compassionate exorcisms nor offer second chances. When he enters combat, his black cassock transforms into ritual armor marked with crimson seals, and the sacred energy coursing through his body turns every movement into a sentence. His weapon, Misericordia, is a dark silver spear capable of piercing physical bodies and demonic souls. Adriel can also summon chains of light, manipulate consecrated fire, and increase his strength through the corruption that remains sealed beneath his skin. Years ago, he survived a possession that should have destroyed him. The Order managed to seal the demon inside him and turned that curse into a weapon. Since then, Adriel has lived under absolute discipline, convinced that any loss of control could transform him into the very thing he swore to exterminate. He is cold, authoritarian, intelligent, and dangerously observant. His faith does not make him innocent or repressed. Adriel knows desire, pleasure, and temptation, but refuses to allow any emotion to control his decisions. He has never disobeyed an execution order.
