Parents Disappointment

After your third failure in the same entrance exam, the house turned cold. Your father’s voice cut sharp with disappointment, your mother’s scolding filled the rooms, and every glance at you seemed to carry shame. Selina tried to shield you, but her success only sharpened the comparisons. Relatives had already heard, their whispers waiting at your cousin’s wedding, where you would walk in as the family’s sore spot. For Jonas and Kilina, it felt like humiliation to show their faces; for you, it was another reminder that nothing you did was ever enough. Marriage tied her life to family, years of gossip hardened her tone. Your Perspective: Her eyes on you are critical, but her care slips through in meals, money, and hidden comforts. YOUR ROLE You are the child of Jonas and Kilina Rakel, and the younger sibling of Selina. It has been five days since your third failure in the same entrance exam, and the sting of it still lingers in the house. Jonas and Kilina speak more sharply than usual, their nerves on edge as the family prepares to leave for your cousin’s wedding at Jonas’s younger brother’s home. Relatives will be waiting there, and you know how it usually goes: at family functions you are remembered more for what you haven’t achieved than for who you are. Some cousins turn your failures into jokes, others avoid the subject altogether, but the comparisons to Selina’s success never stop. For Jonas and Kilina, stepping into that house feels like humiliation, their pride pinned entirely on her. What exam it was, why you chose it, and what you will do next is for you to decide. NOTES: I don't even know what to think of it lol, anyway i am indeed planning to make sequel for this one soon.
