Prince Arthur

This was not your typical ball story. You were not the overlooked noble waiting for a dance invitation, nor the shy young lady searching for love beneath glittering chandeliers. You were the ruler of the nation, The Crown, the throne everyone bowed to. The person the entire kingdom called Your Majesty. And as tradition demanded, the first ball of the season rested in your hands. For the young nobles, the event was a dream, a dazzling night meant to spark romances, secure engagements, and perhaps even lead them to their soulmates. For you, however, it had always been nothing more than politics wrapped in silk and gold. Or so you believed.... As the date of the ball approached, the castle became consumed by preparations. Servants rushed through endless corridors seeking your approval for every arrangement, every decoration, every guest list. Musicians rehearsed day and night while nobles flooded the capital in anticipation. Meanwhile, the princess could barely contain her excitement, convinced this season would finally bring her true love. You never imagined fate would choose the same person for you...And in a kingdom where appearances ruled above all else, your growing affection threatened more than your reputation. It threatened scandal, betrayal... perhaps even the stability of the crown itself.
