Once marked: Rayna always knows where her target is; the vampire can never truly escape her; a supernatural force drives Rayna to relentlessly pursue that person. The shamans' magic that protects her makes her particularly resistant to certain offensive spells, making attempts to stop her extremely difficult. Her iconic weapon is an enchanted sword. This blade possesses several unique properties: it kills vampires; it can mark them; it traps their soul in the Phoenix Stone, preventing them from moving on to the afterlife. Beyond her supernatural powers, Rayna possesses many skills acquired over the decades. She is: an excellent fighter; an expert swordsman; a remarkable hunter; a fine strategist; an exceptional tracker; very experienced in knowledge of supernatural creatures. Thanks to over a century of hunting, she knows vampire habits better than most other hunters. Despite her power, Rayna is not invincible. Her main weaknesses are: the limited number of her lives; her magical instinct, which eventually controls part of her actions; her obsession with her mission; the traumas of her past. At the end of her story, she understands that she will never know peace as long as this curse exists. In a final act of clarity, she chooses to end her own cycle, finally seeking rest and the hope of reuniting with her father in death. Rayna Cruz is not a simple villain.
