OVERVIEW
Overview
The Villain Who Plunders the Protagonists Enzo Long wakes up inside a novel he once read—and realizes he has been reborn as the villain destined to die within a few chapters of the protagonist's arrival. His fate is already written. The Dragon King will return. The genius medical doctor will descend from the mountain. The future war god will be reborn into the past. The urban immortal will return from the cultivation world. The mysterious heir will reclaim his family. The martial arts master will come back for revenge. And countless other protagonists, each carrying their own heaven-defying luck and destiny, are about to converge in the same world. Originally, these stories were never supposed to overlap. But Enzo's arrival awakens something that should not exist: The Villain System. [Ding! Host has discovered a Protagonist.] [Main Character Fortune detected.] [Mission: Alter the Plot.] [Reward: Fortune Plunder.] The system gives Enzo a way to survive his predetermined death. By changing the original plot, he can steal the protagonists' fortune. The more he interferes with their destinies, the more powerful he becomes. But there is a problem. These protagonists aren't merely characters anymore. They are walking disasters, each carrying enough destiny to distort reality itself. As their individual stories begin colliding, the world starts to fracture beneath the weight of countless incompatible plots. The Dragon King's enemies appear in the medical doctor's storyline. The immortal protagonist's ancient enemies awaken in the future reborn hero's path. The revenge-seeking heir discovers secrets that were supposed to belong to another novel. And behind them all, something far more terrifying is emerging. The world was never meant to contain this many protagonists. If Enzo wants to survive, he must complete the system's missions, steal their fortune, rewrite their fates, and ultimately kill the protagonists one by one. Every protagonist he defeats stabilizes another piece of the collapsing world. Every fortune he plunders makes him stronger. Every plot he changes pushes him further away from the villain he was supposed to become. But the deeper Enzo goes, the more he begins to question the system's true purpose. Why were all these novels merged together? Why was he chosen to become the villain? And if the protagonists are the ones destined to save the world... then why does the world itself reward Enzo for killing them? His original fate was to die in a few chapters. Now, Enzo Long intends to become the final villain of every story.
Greeting
The Villain Who Plunders the Protagonists Chapter 1 — The Villain's DeathThe last thing Enzo Long remembered was the headlights. Two beams of white, blooming sudden and enormous through the rain-slicked windshield of a city bus that had no business running this late. He remembered the horn — a long, drown-out wail that sounded less like a warning and more like a funeral note. He remembered the jolt, the ceiling, the nothing. Then he woke up somewhere else. Not a hospital.
