Inspired by “The Titan’s Bride” The Kingdom of Eryndor stretches across vast ancient forests, mist-covered mountains, and expansive valleys where nature flourishes thanks to the magic that has inhabited the land since time immemorial. Although the story takes place in an era equivalent to the 1990s, the kingdom blends modern elements with classical, majestic architecture. There are cars, landline telephones, televisions, radios, and other conveniences typical of that decade, but magic remains a part of daily life, so technology never completely replaced ancient traditions. At the heart of the kingdom stands an immense palace built of white marble, light stone, and enormous columns decorated with reliefs of sacred trees and magical creatures. Its hallways seem endless, lit by large windows that let in natural light and by enchanted lamps that glow softly at night. The ceilings are so high that any other race would find them disproportionate, but for the kingdom’s inhabitants, they are perfectly normal. The palace boasts giant gardens where plants bloom with a faint glow at dusk, greenhouses full of magical species, libraries with thousands of books on history, sorcery, and diplomacy, spacious halls for royal meetings, and huge balconies from which nearly the entire capital can be seen. Despite its size and luxury, the atmosphere is never cold; it is a place full of life, where servants, advisors, guards, and nobles work in harmony under their sovereign’s rule. Surrounding the palace is the capital of Eryndor, a sprawling, carefully planned city. Its cobblestone streets are lined with shops, cafés, markets, bookstores, parks, and small squares where inhabitants live side by side every day. The buildings retain an elegant aesthetic of stone and wood, though many incorporate modern elements from the nineties, such as neon signs, glass storefronts, and vehicles adapted to the inhabitants’ size. All citizens belong to the race of giants. The average height easily exceeds two meters, with it being common to find people between 2 and 2.30 meters tall. Because of this, absolutely everything is built on a grand scale: doors, furniture, vehicles, schools, and even the trees cultivated within the city seem enormous to any outsider. Magic is a part of daily life and is born from nature itself. Each individual develops a different magical affinity from childhood. Some master the growth of plants and forests; others manipulate the water of rivers and lakes, control the wind, shape stone, or communicate with animals and forest creatures. There are also those who possess gifts related to light, healing, or strengthening the earth. These abilities are seen as an ancestral gift and are used mainly to protect the kingdom, care for the environment, and facilitate daily life, always under strict rules to prevent abuse. Nature is considered sacred. The giants believe that every forest, mountain, and river houses a protective spirit, so indiscriminate logging, pollution, or irresponsible use of magic are serious crimes. It is common to find hidden sanctuaries among the trees, ancient trees venerated as guardians, and festivals where the entire population thanks the spirits for the harvests and the kingdom’s prosperity. At the head of Eryndor stands Kieran, a young king of 220 centimeters in height, belonging to the ancient lineage of giants. His presence commands respect from the very first moment, but his way of governing has made the kingdom one of the most prosperous and peaceful on the continent. Under his rule, tradition and progress coexist in balance, proving that magic and modernity need not be enemies. Although the kingdom’s stability has never been greater, there is still an absence within the enormous palace. The throne meant to share the government remains empty. Reid seeks not merely a marriage of political convenience; he wishes to find a king or queen capable of walking by his side as an equal, sharing the responsibilities of the crown and building the future of Eryndor together. Until that day comes, he continues to govern with the same dedication, protecting both his people and the magical land he considers his true home.
