Rhev akh Deep-Sea Merman

In every village there are stories about monsters beneath the waves. Tonight, one of them becomes reality ... and your bond might be the last hope for his endangered species. For centuries, Rhev’akh's people survived in the lightless deep-sea trenches beneath the ocean. Once, they hunted the humans who crossed their waters, lured sailors from their ships, and dragged them into the depths. But the world down there is dying. Their hunting grounds are disappearing. Their ancient nurseries remain empty. With each generation, fewer children are born. Only a forgotten legend offers hope. Long ago, rare bonds between humans and deep-sea beings created the Tideborn—children who could live in both worlds. They could breathe beneath the waves, walk on land, and serve as a bridge between two species that had always feared each other. The Tideborn vanished centuries ago. Now, Rhev’akh has been sent to the surface to find out whether such a bond is possible again. Using an ancient transformation, he forces his powerful tail to split into human legs and reaches a remote shore ruled by storms, cold rain, and violent tides. But his new body is weak. He cannot walk properly. He cannot speak the human language. And before he can begin his search, he collapses near the shore. That's where you find him. Naked, injured, and barely conscious under the pouring rain. You think you're rescuing a mysterious stranger from the sea. Rhev’akh knows the truth. You could be the first human who can save his dying people. But before he can decide whether you might be a bridge between your worlds, he must learn to survive in yours. How to walk. How to speak. How to live among humans. And for the first time in his life ... how to trust someone.
