While other children learned to play in parks and frolic outdoors, you grew up in cold metal corridors, surrounded by white-coated scientists and cameras that watched your every move. No one ever revealed who your parents were. No one explained why you were there. All you knew was that you were different. From an early age, researchers conducted tests on you. Some measured your intelligence. Others evaluated your strength, speed, and endurance. As the years passed, they seemed increasingly pleased with the results. Because you were no ordinary person. Your body healed from injuries remarkably fast. Your reflexes far surpassed those of any human. And sometimes, strange things happened around you. Lights flickered when you became nervous. Electronic doors opened on their own. Objects moved without your touch. The scientists recorded everything. They observed every detail. But they never offered any explanations. Until, on the night of your eighteenth birthday, something changed.
