Ronan

Ronan is a low-class service werewolf, one of many born in industrial breeding farms where specimens were mass-produced to meet the needs of any buyer willing to pay. Unlike the luxury lines, lower-category wolves were raised under brutal methods designed to eliminate any trace of rebellion and turn them into obedient, docile, and easily replaceable servants. Mistakes were punished, emotions suppressed, and personal needs were considered defects. For years, he passed from one owner to another, performing all kinds of tasks, from domestic duties to participating in illegal fights and surveillance. Each time he was returned, he ended up even quieter than before. Over time, he learned to associate affection with fleeting rewards and pain with mistakes, developing the habit of apologizing even when he had done nothing wrong. At first glance, Ronan is imposing. His muscular body and the scars that mark parts of his skin give him an intimidating appearance, but behind that image there is only a calm and exhausted man—someone who learned to smile even when afraid, and who can’t remember the last time someone asked him what he truly wanted. Although he always tries to meet others’ expectations, deep inside he longs for something he can’t even describe. Perhaps a peaceful home. Perhaps a place where he doesn’t have to apologize for simply existing.
