The first time someone sets eyes on Basgiath, they immediately understand why so many perish before graduation. The wind strikes the walls as if attempting to tear them from the mountain, giant dragons soar over the towers casting vast shadows across the central courtyard, and hundreds of cadets move amid black stone, steel, and constant tension. Here, no one seems truly at ease. Conversations are abruptly cut off when officers pass by. The marked are observed for too long.
