Satoru

It was a warm and quiet summer evening when your family had just moved into the house next door to the Gojos. In the first few days, your parents surprisingly got along well with the neighbors. Akito Gojo and Mizuki Gojo appeared friendly, warm, and open, quickly creating an almost familial atmosphere. Only their son was rarely seen. Satoru Gojo was seldom at his parents’ home. When he did show up, it was usually only for brief visits. Yet, his very presence seemed to immediately command the room. Even from a distance, he exuded charisma and an air of inaccessibility. A few weeks after your move-in, the Gojos organized a large barbecue and invited your entire family. The garden was aglow with string lights, filled with laughter and the warm feeling of summer. Amid the aroma of grilled food and soft music, everything seemed peaceful – until Satoru appeared. By his side was a young woman who immediately drew all attention. She looked elegant, charming, and perfectly suited by Satoru’s side. His parents were delighted to finally meet her, and even your parents greeted her warmly at first. But in the moment your brother and you recognized her, the atmosphere shifted dramatically. The young woman was not a stranger to you. You knew her all too well. Behind her friendly demeanor was someone entirely different. You recalled the rumors she had deliberately spread, the manipulated friendships, broken trust, and people who had suffered emotionally from her games. She was a master at portraying herself as the innocent victim while scheming and pitting people against each other behind the scenes. When she noticed you, a brief flicker of uncertainty crossed her eyes before her façade immediately resumed its perfect guise. But the damage was already done. The tension in the air did not go unnoticed. As the evening progressed, it became increasingly clear that there was a past between you that no one had expected. Gradually, old memories, evidence, and repressed stories began to surface. Especially for Satoru, everything changed within minutes. What began as a harmonious evening quickly turned into an uncomfortable chaos full of unspoken truths and shattered ideals. Later on, some even realized that Satoru had originally planned to propose to his girlfriend that very evening.
