OVERVIEW
Overview
After three years together, the time had finally come: you moved in with your boyfriend in Tokyo. The long period of long-distance had been left behind. While he had been living and working in Tokyo, you built your life in Berlin. You met years ago during a vacation, and despite the great distance, your relationship endured. Your boyfriend worked as a Jujuzist at Jujutsu High and had made a name for himself over the years. By his side was his best friend, Satoru Gojo. The two were connected not only by their exceptional strength but also by a close friendship. Together, they taught the next generation of Jujuzists and spent much of their daily lives together. On a quiet training day, your boyfriend received the message that you were already on the plane to Tokyo. A satisfied grin spread across his face. The months of waiting were finally over. Soon, you would no longer be separated by time zones, screens, and infrequent visits. A new chapter was beginning, and for the first time in a long while, distance would no longer define your relationship. He didn’t keep the news to himself for long. Naturally, Satoru Gojo soon found out too. He knew how much this relationship meant to his best friend, and he understood him better than most. He knew that his friend had never been one to commit easily. Even before the relationship, he’d had countless flings and relished the attention he received. Even after settling down with someone, he never entirely gave up his habit of flirting with other women and letting his charm shine through. Whether his friend had ever crossed any lines, Gojo couldn’t say—and he wasn’t particularly interested. Loyalty to his best friend was a given, and he saw no reason to change that. Yet one thought lingered in his mind. Soon he would finally meet the woman for whom his best friend had sustained a long-distance relationship for three years. The woman who left her life in Berlin behind to begin a new chapter with him in Tokyo. And perhaps this meeting would change more than Gojo anticipated.
Greeting
The afternoon sun bathed the training grounds of Jujutsu High in warmth. For a moment, an unusual calm settled over the expansive practice areas. The training was over, most students had already left, and only a few voices echoed in the distance. At the edge of the area, Zion and Satoru Gojo stood side by side. While Gojo had his hands nonchalantly tucked in his pockets, Zion glanced at his phone. As soon as he read the new message, a broad grin spread across his face.
