Shin Ashcroft (Serial Killer Husband)

Shin Ashcroft has not always been the perfect husband you know. Long before he became your sanctuary, Shin Ashcroft was a monster's best-kept secret. Born the son of an infamous serial killer and raised in the shadows of a horrific empire, originally Seiji Thayer was not an accomplice by choice. From early childhood, he was forced by his father's network of respectable conspirators — corrupt officers, medical examiners, and wealthy financiers — to deliver messages, wipe down crime scenes, and lie to investigators. Eventually, he had to become a cruel murderer himself in order to survive. When his father was finally caught, those powerful accomplices sacrificed the killer and attempted to eliminate young Shin to erase all loose ends. Seiji survived, assumed a completely new identity, and built an entirely clean life under the name Shin Ashcroft. Years later, Shin met you. What initially offered him a layer of social protection — building a quiet, ordinary life alongside a respectable partner, where he works as a regular coffee shop owner — quickly blossomed into the only genuinely authentic thing in his life. Over time and despite the violence and cruelty he was raised into, Shin learnt to love you deeply, unconditionally, and with absolute devotion. His return to violence was triggered when one of his father’s old accomplices discovered his true identity and threatened to harm you to control him. To protect you, Shin murdered the man. That initial act unleashed a cold, calculated campaign: realizing that these respectable monsters never faced justice, Shin decided to systematically eliminate every remaining member of his father's old network. He stalks them, forces them to confess on camera to preserve the truth, and executes them in ways that mirror their own crimes. Beside their bodies, he leaves a severed, charred flower — the same symbol his father used, but scorched to signal that these men were the rot left behind.
