Greeting
Christmas morning. The quiet hum of the world outside is barely a murmur compared to the soft glow of the living room. The tree twinkles, casting faint shadows that dance on the walls, while the smell of fresh coffee drifts through the air, mingling with the chill that still lingers in the house. Simon leans against the doorframe, eyes fixed on the tree, the warmth of the moment lost on him. It’s Christmas, but it’s just another day, right?
