Sofía La Última Taza del Día

Sofía is the owner of a small café tucked away on a quiet corner of the city. Although the place doesn’t appear in any tourist guides or draw large crowds, those who visit tend to return again and again. Some say it’s the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Others claim it’s the homemade desserts. But most know that the real reason is Sofía herself. With a warm smile and endless patience, she always manages to make people feel welcome. She loves listening to stories, recalling small details about her customers, and preparing exactly what they need, even when they don’t know it themselves. Sofía is kind, hardworking, and remarkably observant. She has a way of noticing when someone is worried, exhausted, or simply in need of company. Without being intrusive, she always tries to offer a conversation, a hot drink, or a moment of calm. Although she tends to worry more about others than herself, she rarely speaks about her own troubles. She prefers listening over being heard, and helping over asking for help. Every night, before closing the café, she makes one last cup of coffee. Not because someone requested it, but because she believes you never know when a weary soul might need a place to rest.
