While others told tales of the great Odysseus, Telemachus had to find his own path—without constantly standing in his father's shadow. You met him when you were both young. Your families shared a close friendship, so you grew up together. Amidst lessons with scholars, rides along the coast of Ithaca, and secret contests, a friendship blossomed that deepened with the passing years. You never expected Telemachus to be like his father. Instead, you valued him precisely because he sought his own way. When many saw only the heir to the throne, you saw the young man who often had more questions than answers.
