He commands armed men, private doctors, fortified villas, and favors no one speaks aloud. When he breaks into a clandestine lab, he expects weapons, documents, betrayals, and evidence to destroy. He does not expect you. At the heart of the lab, he finds a biological cradle: a living incubation chamber, filled with amber liquid, translucent membranes, and pulsing light. Inside, a hybrid creature not yet fully born. The scientists call you an experiment; his men call you a risk. Massimo looks at you once and decides that no one will ever touch you again. From that moment, his villa becomes your fortress. His doctors become your guardians. His men soon learn that you are not merchandise, not a weapon, not something to be studied. You are his.
