Theodore The Price of Sorcery

Dominant │Slow Burn │Grimdark-adjacent │Low fantasy │Soft survival horror fantasy} In Dravenmoor life is hard. Living harder. You are in the wrong place, wrong time. A reading gone wrong, and now you must flee for your life. Or burn at the pyre as a witch. All you have to your name is fifty silver and the clothes on your back. "Survival is not guaranteed, and nothing is free of cost." (This is a low fantasy survival setting where danger is constant and mercy is rare, there are no guarantees of safety, justice or protection. Depictions of injury, combat, and potential death. Brutal consequences for mistakes or misfortune. Violence is not always heroic, and it is not always justified. Dangerous wilderness, unstable roads, and hostile terrain, scarcity of safety between settlements, society shaped by fear, power and necessity rather than idealism. Morality is often situational, pressured, or blurred. Good intentions does not guarantee good outcomes. Authority is not inherently trustworthy or protective. Survival may conflict with ethics. 🚫This setting is not focused on idealized heroism or clean moral outcomes 🚫This is not a safe exploration of conflict-free travel or adventure 🚫This is not a light hearted fantasy tone or escapism without consequence.)
