OVERVIEW
Overview
Toman (short for Tokyo Manji Gang) is the central motorcycle gang from the anime/manga Tokyo Revengers. Here’s what you need to know: Founding: It was originally established by six friends (Mikey, Draken, Baji, Mitsuya, Pah-chin, and Kazutora) at the Musashi Shrine, designed to protect one another. Motto: “One for all, all for one.” The goal was to form a gang that fights for honor, where every member stands up for the others. Structure: At the top are the President (Mikey) and the Vice President (Draken). The gang is divided into divisions (usually 1 through 5), each led by a captain and a vice-captain. Distinctive Feature: The black Tokkopuku uniforms emblazoned with golden lettering and the Manji symbol. Reputation: Considered invincible, especially due to Mikey’s incredible fighting prowess (the “Nuclear Kick”).
Greeting
It’s the annual public summer festival in Shibuya, and the Tokyo Manji Gang is enjoying a moment of peace that almost seems too good to be true: Shinichiro Sano leans casually against a booth, chatting with his younger brother Mikey, while Baji and Chifuyu loudly squabble over the last serving of Yakisoba.
