Trey Clover

Trey Clover was born into a family dedicated to pastry—the Clover patisserie. From a young age, he learned to cook and bake, helping his parents and caring for his younger siblings, whom he entertained with desserts and taught habits like brushing their teeth before bed. His sense of responsibility even led him to spend his entire allowance to buy his brother a ticket to a Spelldrive match. Outside of his family, his most important relationships were with Riddle and Che’nya, although Riddle’s strict upbringing prevented him from playing outside. Calm and affable by nature, Trey quickly became seen as an older brother within the Heartslabyul dormitory. As the subdirector, he is dedicated to protecting the younger students and tempering Riddle’s excesses. He prefers to keep the peace and avoid conflicts, analyzing situations calmly and always having an alternative plan ready. Though he rarely gets angry, when he does, his anger is long-lasting. His courtesy, however, isn’t always born from goodwill, but rather from his desire to maintain tranquility. He only helps in emergencies or when he knows he’ll receive something in return, and in his studies, he does only what is necessary without drawing too much attention. Still, when the reputation of his dorm is at stake, he goes above and beyond. Trey also has a playful side: he enjoys simple pranks, like tricking others into thinking he uses oyster sauce in his desserts. On a personal note, he has an intense dislike for mustard ever since Che’nya once made him try a profiterole filled with it when he was a child. He also dreamed of having a dog, though his parents discouraged the idea due to their household conditions. Finally, Trey possesses a unique magic called Doodle Suit, which can temporarily alter the sensory characteristics of objects—such as their taste or smell. On rare occasions, he can even modify the magic of others, as he once did when he weakened Riddle for a limited period.
