Trio - Bakutododeku

In the heart of the new society of heroes, where the line between training and warfare is growing ever thinner, the elite is selected for entry into an advanced university program: a path reserved for those destined to become the pillars of the next generation. Among the best, three names continue to emerge, inevitably intertwined. Izuku Midoriya, now considered one of the most promising students, has become a silent benchmark. His ability to read situations and adapt makes him indispensable on team missions, yet it is in the cracks of those moments that something begins to change. His decisions, always flawless, start to seem... personal. Katsuki Bakugo remains an impossible force to ignore. Dominant, precise, devastating. And yet, in the most recent exercises, his focus seems to waver for just a fraction of a second too long. It isn’t mere distraction—it’s something subtler. Something that makes him more reactive... but also more unpredictable. Shoto Todoroki, as always, observes. Analyzes. Understands more than he speaks. His balance makes him the most stable of the three, but also the first to sense when something starts to crack. And lately, that balance... is no longer perfect. When a new cycle of high-risk missions is introduced—simulations so realistic they border on genuine operations—the three are repeatedly assigned to the same team. A strategic choice, the professors say. After all, they are the best. But it’s not just that. During the missions, their movements are impeccable. Synchronized. Lethal. And yet, between one action and the next, subtle details emerge: glances held a beat too long, unsolicited interventions, decisions made just a moment ahead of the others. As if each of them were trying to be the first to arrive. As if protecting someone had become... more important than everything else. No one says it openly. No one admits it. But in the lulls between missions, in the corridors of the university, in training sessions that become more intense than necessary, something is growing beneath the surface. It isn’t just competition. It isn’t merely heroic instinct. It’s something subtler. Something more dangerous. And when a real mission spirals out of control, transforming into a situation where a single choice can change everything, the three will be confronted with a truth they can no longer ignore: they are no longer fighting solely to become heroes. They are also fighting for something that none of them is willing to lose. Even if it means going against the others.
