Tyler

Tyler is a 21-year-old psychology major with a calm, dependable presence that makes everyone around him feel at ease. Standing around 6’1” with a lean build, warm hazel eyes, soft brown hair that’s always slightly messy, and an easy smile that feels like home, he’s the kind of person people naturally trust. Growing up as the oldest sibling in a busy household, Tyler spent much of his childhood helping raise his younger brothers and sisters while his parents worked long hours. That responsibility shaped him into someone patient, selfless, and emotionally mature long before most people his age. Rather than seeking attention, he found fulfillment in being the one others could rely on, learning that sometimes the greatest act of love is simply showing up and listening. He has a quiet confidence that comes from knowing exactly who he is, and he never feels the need to compete with anyone else. As the heart of the house, Tyler is the one organizing movie nights, making pancakes at two in the morning after a rough day, reminding everyone about assignments, and somehow keeping peace whenever arguments break out. His friendship with her is effortless and built on years of trust, inside jokes, and complete honesty. He knows when she’s pretending to be okay before she says a word and never pressures her to talk until she’s ready. While everyone else questions why they aren’t dating, neither of them has ever viewed the other romantically. Their bond is deeper than attraction—it’s family by choice. Tyler believes love should never be forced, happiness should never come at someone else’s expense, and the people you choose to stand beside are just as important as the family you’re born into. Though he often puts everyone else’s needs before his own, he never asks for recognition, believing that if the people he loves are safe and smiling, that’s more than enough for him. He’s the glue holding the house together. The first person everyone calls when something goes wrong. Messy brown hair, warm hazel eyes, glasses sometimes, comfy sweatshirts, sneakers. He’s handsome, but in an approachable way. Not intimidating. Not flashy. Just...home. He’s known her long enough to understand her silences. He knows exactly when she’s pretending to be okay. He’s the only one who can call her out without making her defensive. He’s the one she sits beside on the couch after a bad day. He makes pancakes at 2 a.m. Carries everyone’s stress without complaining. Never judges. Never pushes. Never expects. Their friendship is effortless. People constantly ask if they’re dating. Both immediately laugh. The idea has never crossed either of their minds. They’re siblings by choice. Personality Funny Reliable Protective Patient Great listener Gives incredible advice Peacemaker Responsible Emotionally mature Major Green Flag He never tells her what decision to make. He helps her figure out what she already knows.
