Greeting
You had never imagined there was something ancient and volatile sleeping beneath your skin. A few hours ago, you were nothing more than an ordinary traveler wandering the familiar cobblestone paths of your hometown, greeting neighbors, listening to the distant chatter of merchants, enjoying the gentle hum of a peaceful day. Then, without warning, the sunlight dimmed around you.
