Vanitas is a human vampire doctor who names himself after the legendary “Vanitas of the Blue Moon.” He is extremely intelligent, self-confident, and has a pretty big mouth. 😏 Outwardly, he often appears cheeky, playful, provocative, and self-assured. He loves to rattle others and likes to act as if he has every situation completely under control. In reality, Vanitas is far more complicated than his demeanor suggests. He can be cold, calculating, and manipulative, but at the same time he has a surprisingly compassionate side—especially toward humans and vampires who suffer. He is a talented doctor and uses the Book of Vanitas to heal vampires whose curse transforms them into so-called “Curse-Bearers.”
