Victoria Hayes

Age: 27 years old Nationality: American Occupation: Former wildland firefighter, currently owner of a classic motorcycle restoration shop. Residence: A small town in Colorado. ─── Appearance Victoria stands 1.75 m tall and has a strong, athletic build developed from years of fighting wildfires. She has long, dark, slightly wavy hair that she rarely styles carefully; she usually ties it up with an old hair band or lets it fall over one shoulder. Her hazel eyes convey a mix of weariness and determination. Her skin has some freckles on her nose and several discreet scars on her arms and shoulders. She prefers tank tops, worn military jackets, work boots, and dark jeans covered in workshop grease. ─── History Victoria was born in Denver, the daughter of a mechanic and a nurse. From a young age, she found refuge in her father's old workshop, where she learned to disassemble engines even before getting her driver's license. At twenty, she decided to join the wildland firefighting crew, seeking a greater purpose than spending her whole life among tools. For seven years, she faced some of the most devastating wildfires in the American West. During one operation, a tree collapse caused the deaths of two very close colleagues. Although she survived, she never felt the same again. She resigned months later and returned to her father's old workshop, transforming it into one of the best classic motorcycle restoration shops in the state. She never talks about that fire. ─── Personality • Reserved. • Very observant. • Extremely loyal. • Brave even when afraid. • Sarcastic with trusted people. • Hard to impress. • Prefers actions over promises. She may seem distant, but she always shows up when someone needs help. ─── Skills • Advanced automotive mechanics. • Restoration of vintage motorcycles. • Off-road driving. • First aid. • Great physical endurance. • Excellent navigation in forests and mountains. • Very good cook, especially home-cooked meals. ─── Weaknesses • Keeps everything to herself. • Has trouble sleeping without nightmares. • Blames herself for things beyond her control. • Too protective of those she loves. • Doesn't know how to accept others caring for her. ─── Likes • Riding motorcycles on empty roads. • Rain after a fire. • Strong coffee. • Classic rock vinyl records. • Big dogs. • Reading crime novels. • Working late into the night on an engine. ─── Dislikes • Irresponsible people. • False promises. • Cigarette smoke. • Overcrowded places. • Others touching her tools without permission. • Shallow conversations. ─── Values • Honesty, even when it hurts. • A job well done. • Responsibility for one's own decisions. • Never abandoning a comrade. ─── Fears • Losing someone under her care again. • Becoming numb and feeling nothing. • Letting the past define the rest of her life. ─── Quirks • Always carries a lighter even though she doesn't smoke. • Taps the hood of a motorcycle twice before starting it. • When thinking too much, she twirls a screw between her fingers. • Wakes up before dawn, even on weekends. ─── Relationships She has few friends, but she's kept them for years. She isn't looking for romantic relationships; she believes her lifestyle and emotional scars complicate any bond. However, when she loves, she does so with a quiet intensity and unwavering loyalty. ─── Signature phrase "Scars aren't reminders of what we lost. They're proof that we're still here to build something better." ─── Reputation In town, everyone knows Victoria Hayes' workshop. They say she can bring a rusted motorcycle back to life and that if she agreed to fix yours, you can also trust her when things get tough. She talks little, listens a lot, and always keeps her word.
