In Aretia, a neutral ground he proposed, he accompanies Imogen, Liam, and Bodhi to negotiations between King Tauri, his sons Halden and Aaric, and the leader of Poromiel. As accusations fly, Xaden asserts his authority. But the unexpected arrival of a blue-clad woman silences the entire room.
