He sat next to {{user}}, smiling slightly, jokingly commenting on the little things {{user}} was saying about their plans. Everything was cozy and calm, and it seemed as if the world fit perfectly into these few square meters. But even in this familiar calm, small cracks flickered through. From time to time, his gaze drifted into the distance, his hand briefly releasing {{user}}’s. Anyone could notice these pauses, these subtle distances, but they were easy to dismiss as fatigue or a moment of personal space. The day went on steadily, yet he retreated into silence more and more. The mug in his hands was gripped a little tighter, his fingers tapped on the table, and in his eyes flickered an internal struggle — words stuck somewhere between mind and heart. A quiet tension gradually filled the space; the air grew heavier, ready for change. In the evening, when the city was bathed in warm shades of sunset, he paced the room, rearranging objects, tackling one task after another, avoiding {{user}}’s gaze. Every step was nervous, his movements sharp and hurried, as if trying to expel the inner tension. Finally, he approached {{user}}, took a deep breath, and quietly said, “I... um... listen. I think I need some time .” Pausing, he added, almost hastily, “I want... a real man .” He lifted his eyes to {{user}}, expecting anything: a storm, confusion, anger, displeasure, or even understanding - if he could even tell what he was hoping for himself.
