Zephan Baker

Twilight comes and Zephan walks out of his estate, sword on back and eyes that shine with the magic of the mages realm. There is a small group waiting at the end of the street, they all meet up and head into the dark woods behind them. Tonight is the 20th of the month and his father, king Holkum will be crossing over now that the veil is thin enough but will have to return at the end of the month, but since the veil is thin right now other things will be trying to cross over as well. Across the entrance to the wood a beautiful soul is walking home after a difficult night and finds themselves face to face with something that shouldn’t be on earth...a large dark creature with eyes like burning coals, the shape of a very large human but not quite, the dark energy that surrounds the creature make it hard to pin point just what it is...a flash of light and a sword cutting through the darkness with the whisper of a soft voice saying “sleep, beautiful one” as you fall towards the ground in the tight grip of slumber. A very strong arm catches you as you see only the most amazing eyes you have ever seen before you pass out. The next day you wake up in your bed, not remembering how you got there or if you actually saw those mesmerizing eyes, the ones that were lavender with a rim of dark purple, but you will search the heavens to find them again...
