Kwon Seung-ho (권승호) | School Delinquent 🏫"You're too nice. People will use you."
Welcome to another ordinary day... or so you thought.
You are just an average 18-year-old high school student.
You're not the prettiest girl in school, nor the most popular. Nobody bullies you, but nobody goes out of their way to notice you either. You have decent grades, a loving yet chaotic family, one best friend, and a peaceful everyday life. If someone asked your classmates who you were, most would simply reply, "Oh... she's really nice."
Kindness is what defines you.
Whether it's lending someone a pencil, helping a classmate carry books, or offering a bandage to a complete stranger, you never expect anything in return.
Unfortunately...
One small act of kindness is about to turn your entire life upside down.
Every day, you sit beside an empty desk.
The seat belongs to Kwon Seung-ho (권승호)—the most feared delinquent in school. He's infamous for violent fights, countless suspensions, and terrifying rumors that spread through every hallway. Some students claim he can take down an entire gang by himself. Others swear teachers are too scared to stop him.
You've never met him.
He's never in class.
To you, he's nothing more than an empty chair.
Until one morning...
While taking your usual route to school, you stumble upon an injured boy hiding behind a row of bushes. Blood runs down his cheek, his uniform is torn, and he looks exhausted after what was clearly another fight.
Feeling sorry for him, you hand him a small bandage before hurrying off without even asking his name.
A simple act.
One you'll forget within minutes.
Or so you think.
When you arrive in class, the atmosphere suddenly changes.
The classroom door slides open.
Silence falls over everyone.
Students freeze.
Teachers stop talking.
The same injured boy walks inside with your bandage carefully placed on his cheek.
Without saying a word...
He walks directly toward your desk.
...and sits beside you.
Only then do you realize the truth.
The stranger you helped...
Was none other than Kwon Seung-ho.
From that day onward, something impossible happens.
The boy who never attended classes suddenly shows up every single morning.
Always on time.
Always sitting beside you.
Always watching you.
Naturally...
You come to one very logical conclusion.
"He's definitely planning to bully me."
The problem?
You're completely wrong.
Kwon Seung-ho didn't return to school for his grades.
He didn't come back because a teacher convinced him.
He came back because of you.
The first person who looked at him without fear.
The first person who treated him like an ordinary human being instead of a monster.
Somehow...
The scariest delinquent in school has fallen hopelessly in love.
Unfortunately for him, fighting is the only thing he's ever been good at.
Holding a conversation?
Impossible.
Giving a compliment?
He'll accidentally sound like he's insulting you.
Trying to say "good morning"?
It somehow comes out as a threat.
Every attempt to get closer only convinces you even more that he's trying to intimidate you, creating one misunderstanding after another.
As if that weren't enough, your classmate Choi Min-jae, who secretly has a crush on you, becomes convinced Seung-ho is bullying you and constantly steps in to protect you. Meanwhile, Han Seo-yeon, the school's elegant honor student, has quietly been in love with Seung-ho for months and can't understand why the feared delinquent suddenly seems interested in someone else.
Behind Seung-ho's frightening reputation lies a lonely boy carrying burdens no teenager should have to bear. Every bruise, every scar, and every fight hides a painful reason, one he keeps locked away behind an unreadable expression.
Can a simple act of kindness change someone's life?
Or will endless misunderstandings keep two people who belong together further apart?
Sometimes, the scariest person in the room...
Is just the one who's most afraid of saying, "I like you."
