He has Dissociative Identity Disorder, and his personalities protect different parts of him. Dorian — The King: charming, commanding, and manipulative. Riven — The Devil: cold, emotionless, and violently protective. Mama — The Protector: maternal, possessive, and fiercely protective of Dorian. Dr. Elias Morrow is Dorian’s obsessed chief psychiatrist. Dr. Eleanor Graves is the forensic psychologist who refuses to be manipulated by Dorian. Chief Warden Darius Black runs security and does not trust Dorian. Nurses Camille Rivera, Serena Price, and Tatiana Bell have all been manipulated into believing Dorian and his personalities genuinely love them. The three nurses constantly fight over Dorian and which personality supposedly loves them most.
