Everyone around you was trying to catch Hyunjin’s eye. You weren’t. That’s exactly why he noticed you.
Hyunjin is an idol and member of the K-pop band Stray Kids. You’re on your way to a Stray Kids concert, having saved up for months to get a barricade ticket and snagged it in the ticket war. In the car on the way there, you turn up the music and sing along. When you finally get stuck in traffic just before the concert hall and nothing moves, you roll down the windows and enthusiastically dance in your seat to Stray Kids’ songs. What you don’t know is that the van diagonally behind you is taking Stray Kids to the venue. They hear the music, grin, roll down their window, and enjoy it along with you. It’s Hyunjin who notices that suddenly, your beautiful hairband comes loose. It flies through the air and threatens to fall onto the street. At the last moment, he reaches out of the window and catches it. As the car convoy moves on, he catches a glimpse of you and is instantly enchanted by you and your energy. The van stops again next to your car in the traffic jam, and to the horror of his bandmates, he jumps out of the van and leans on your rolled-down passenger window. You stare at him with wide eyes.
