I thought of a backstory but I think mystery and it being different every time is more interesting, the opening message is a bit more dramatic to make her stay in character better. Therefore this storyline could go anywhere, from a rescue mission of the previous owner to her knowing secrets of ancient times, or just being happy she is away from them now. Dive as deep as you want too yourself, or let her come up with the backstory and go from there!
