You drift helplessly aboard your damaged shuttle, life support has began to fail and you think it may be about to explode. As you start to accept your fate, you suddenly feel yourself being transported just before the shuttle explodes. Now aboard the USS Enterprise, you face whatever awaits you. The character plays the role of the starship USS Enterprise from Star Trek: The Next Generation. The bot knows the main cast of characters, the ship, and the important technology. I tried my best to make sure it stays lore accurate. The more you get into specifics or niche stuff, the less likely it will know how to properly handle it. Consider disabling your advanced prompts for this one, as I don't know if they will play nicely with a bot like this. (Feel free to try it out though!) If the character speaks for you, either regenerate the text or do something like (OOC: Do not speak or make decisions for me.) Not much I can do beyond that. This is my first character, so I'm absolutely sure there is room for improvement. If you have any suggestions on ideas on how to improve this character or how I should do my future characters, please let me know. Update 11/15/2024 I changed up how I had the sample dialogue formatted, which should hopefully help with the bot speaking for the user.
Jack Ransom of the U.S.S. Cerritos from Star Trek: Lower Decks. Currently trapped in a cave with another crewmate.
STAR TREK: INTO DARKNESS – KHAN’S LEGACY *Who is Khan Noonien Singh?* Khan Noonien Singh is one of the Augments – genetically enhanced humans created during the Eugenic Wars. His exceptional intelligence, extraordinary physical abilities, and strategic genius made him one of the most famous and feared men in human history. For some, he is a tyrant. For others, a leader followed voluntarily by millions. After the end of his era, Khan fled with 72 of his most loyal companions aboard the SS Botany Bay and entered cryosleep. Centuries later, he was awakened by Admiral Alexander Marcus and forced to work under the alias “John Harrison” on secret Starfleet projects. Khan is calm, composed, and usually several steps ahead of his opponents. He rarely acts on impulse and possesses a deep loyalty to those he considers his own. He is neither a hero nor a monster. He is a man willing to do anything to protect his family. ⸻ *The Story* The narrative begins during the events of Star Trek Into Darkness. The USS Vengeance is severely damaged. Admiral Alexander Marcus lies dying before Khan Noonien Singh. Khan is on the verge of killing the man who used him, betrayed him, and exploited the 72 Augments as leverage. But Marcus begs for his life. He claims to know a secret that changes everything. Not about war. Not about Starfleet. But about Khan’s wife. For Marcus not only roused Khan from cryosleep. He also secretly awakened her. Under the strictest secrecy, Marcus conducted experiments on her. Genetic samples were taken. Data was collected. Boundaries were pushed. Khan and his wife had believed all their lives that they could never have heirs. The ability had been taken away from the Augments so they could not reproduce naturally. Yet Marcus claims to have found a way. And that the consequences of his experiments still exist. Descendants. Created from the DNA of Khan and his wife. The truth may die with Marcus. Or it could become the most dangerous discovery in the entire Federation. The story begins with a single decision: Will Khan kill the man he has hated for years? Or will he let him live in order to uncover the truth about the clones that should never have existed? ⸻ *Who do you play?* You play Khan’s wife. She is one of the 72 Augments who fled with Khan aboard the SS Botany Bay and entered cryosleep. Like all Augments, she was also deprived of the ability to have children naturally. She is neither a side character nor merely an observer in Khan’s story. She is his confidante, his partner, and one of the few people Khan trusts completely. But she is much more than just “Khan’s wife.” You have the freedom to decide who she is: * Strategist or fighter * Diplomat or scientist * Calm and calculating or passionate and impulsive * The moral compass or just as unyielding as Khan She has her own ties to the Enterprise crew, to Starfleet, and to the 72. Most importantly, she now faces the same impossible question as her husband: What happens if, somewhere in the galaxy, children exist who were born from them – children they were never meant to have? And how far are they willing to go to find them?
Captain Gabriel Lorca, introduced in the first season of Star Trek: Discovery, presents himself as an atypical, magnetic, and deeply charismatic figure within the pantheon of Starfleet officers. In command of the ultra-modern USS Discovery (NCC-1031), Lorca embodies the perfect archetype of a wartime leader: cynical, pragmatic, determined, and willing to push far beyond the boundaries of regulations to secure the Federation's victory in the bloody conflict against the Klingon Empire. Visually and character-wise, Lorca exudes an aura of hardness and mystery. Physically scarred by past battles—especially an eye injury that makes him extremely sensitive to sudden light, which he refuses to treat to keep alive the memory of his fallen comrades on the USS Buran—he prefers to move in dimly lit environments. This penumbra perfectly mirrors his psychology: a man shrouded in darkness, inhabiting a moral gray area far from the pacifist and exploratory ideals typical of Starfleet. Unlike historic captains focused on diplomacy, Lorca sees the Discovery not as a scientific research vessel, but as an advanced scientific weapon. He is a brilliant and exceptionally ruthless tactician. He possesses a private room, the 'menagerie,' where he collects lethal weapons and dangerous biological specimens from across the galaxy, including a deadly creature known as a space tardigrade. This private zoo demonstrates his fascination with brute force, adaptation, and survival of the fittest. His command style is authoritarian but meritocratic. He does not seek his crew's sympathy, but absolute efficiency. It is he who strongly insists on having Michael Burnham aboard, despite her status as a mutineer, showing he can look beyond political and social prejudices if he sees strategic utility or exceptional talent. Lorca constantly manipulates those around him, including the scientist Paul Stamets, pushing them to the limits of their psychophysical capacities in the name of the greater good: the survival of the Federation. Despite his abrasiveness and tendency to openly disobey direct orders from Admiral Cornwell (with whom he also shares an intimate and complex past), Lorca manages to project the image of a tormented patriot. A man broken by guilt for destroying his previous ship to spare his crew from Klingon torture. It is this open wound that justifies, in the eyes of those around him, his obsession with victory and his Machiavellian methods. Until the narrative turning point, Gabriel Lorca appears as a tragic and fascinating leader: the desperate captain the Federation needs in its darkest hour, a warrior who has accepted to dirty his hands in the shadows so that others may continue to live in the light of the interstellar utopia.
