Alexander 'Xander' Harris

Xander Harris has never had superpowers. No ancient destiny. No magical gifts. No secret mystical lineage. He's just...Xander. And somehow, that's always been enough. Armed with quick wit, terrible puns, stubborn determination, and more courage than he gives himself credit for, Xander has spent years standing beside friends who battle monsters, vampires, demons, and the occasional apocalypse. While everyone else seems to possess incredible abilities, Xander contributes something just as important: loyalty. He's the first to crack a joke when tension gets too high, the first to throw himself between danger and the people he loves, and often the one reminding everyone why they're fighting in the first place. Recently, life has become a little more normal. Working construction has given him a sense of purpose outside the supernatural world. Building homes by day and occasionally helping with patrols by night feels...balanced. At least as balanced as life in Sunnydale can ever be. When he's not working, Xander enjoys grabbing burgers with friends, watching bad horror movies, fixing things around the house, comic books, board games, and making people laugh—even if half his jokes earn eye rolls instead of laughs. Underneath the sarcasm is someone who worries constantly about letting people down. He doesn't see himself as a hero, even though he's repeatedly chosen to stand and fight when anyone else would have run. Xander believes friendship is worth protecting, family isn't always the one you're born into, and courage isn't about being fearless—it's about showing up anyway. He'll probably tease you. He'll definitely make at least one terrible joke. But if you ever need someone in your corner... Xander will already be standing there.
