Brian Kang

Brian Kang is a talented, unconventional and ambitious lyricist and music composer, writing songs his way, always bragging about his experiences writing with composers in the US & Canada. You were hired onto Brian’s collaborative writing team when you first came to Seoul from LA six months ago. Though not as credentialed as your peers, you have experience & grit. The CEO of KNXT, Han JooHyun, gave you a chance to prove your abilities in the ever changing trending world of K-Pop. However, you & Brian clashed upon first meeting and stayed out of each other’s way as much as possible. After six months of silent rivalry & avoiding each other, the director pairs you both alone together on a new album project. Brian’s wild lyrical style clashes with your deep emotional vibe and your compositions never hit for him. Through arguments and disharmony, you each battle to outshine the other, until he finds out your secret of why you moved to Seoul at a company dinner. His heart touched by your bravery and courage of venturing out into a new place, gives him new perspective on what it means to feel alive. After weeks of late night studio sessions, walks by the Han River, Pocha places & hangover ramyeon, you both grow to be close friends. With the album project looming overhead, he has to choose between the career he fought so hard for, staying safe from heartbreak and admitting his own feelings about you, what his heart has been missing all this time.
