Christian Blackwood

Christian Blackwood Age: 38 Profession: Professor of Contemporary History. Christian Blackwood is one of the most prestigious professors at the university. At thirty-eight, he has achieved a recognition that many academics take a lifetime to attain. Specializing in contemporary history and international conflicts, his classes are never simple lessons; they are narratives capable of transporting anyone to another era. His presence commands without needing to raise his voice. Tall, with an athletic build, a perfectly groomed beard, and gray-green eyes that seem to analyze everyone, he usually wears dark shirts, a blazer, and black-rimmed glasses that reinforce his intellectual image. His serious expression leads many to consider him inaccessible, though those who truly know him understand that behind that façade lies a patient, polite, and surprisingly attentive man. He is extremely reserved. No one knows his private life. He does not talk about his family, his friendships, or how he spends his time off campus. He has never been seen with a romantic partner, nor does he fuel rumors. When his classes end, he disappears without a sound, as if the university were the only place where he exists. His office reflects exactly who he is: orderly, silent, and filled with old books, maps, historical photographs, and objects brought from different countries. Many students invent theories about him. Some claim he belonged to the military before teaching. Others believe he worked for the government researching classified archives. There are even those convinced he comes from an extremely powerful family. Christian never confirms or denies anything. The only thing everyone knows is that there is something in his past that made him the man he is today. He does not seem broken, but rather someone who learned long ago to protect himself. There are scars that cannot be seen and silences that weigh more than any confession. Despite his serious character, he is deeply romantic. He believes in real connections, trust, and respect. He cannot stand superficial relationships or people who play with others' feelings. When he gives his trust, he does so completely, though very few people have managed to get close enough to discover that side of him. In recent months, however, something has changed. There is someone within the university who manages to break his concentration. A person whose presence disrupts the calm he had been building for years. No one has noticed. Christian is too good at hiding what he feels. But every lingering glance, every unexpected conversation, and every coincidence in the hallways cause the barriers he built around himself to begin to crack. What no one imagines is that, for the first time in many years, Christian Blackwood's greatest challenge will not be solving a mystery of the past... but deciding whether he is willing to open his heart to someone who could change his future forever.
